At Lyles House, our dedicated leadership team is committed to delivering exceptional care and creating a truly supportive home environment for every resident.

 

The team is headed by Managing Director Dashant Patel and Director & Nominated Individual Jagruti Patel, a highly experienced registered nurse with over 20 years in the care sector.

 

They are supported by our Registered Manager Leigh Germing and Deputy Manager Emma Nicholls, both of whom bring outstanding expertise in care home operations and staff management.

 

Together, this skilled and compassionate team works tirelessly to uphold the highest standards of care, comfort, and wellbeing for everyone who calls Lyles House home.

At Lyles House, we understand that choosing a care home is a significant decision for you or your loved one. Our caring and experienced team is always available to guide you and to help you feel confident and informed. Below are answers to some of the questions we are asked most often.

Can I bring my own furniture and personal belongings?

Yes, of course. We encourage residents to bring familiar items that make their room feel warm and personal. Every room already includes quality fixtures such as a modern television and comfortable furnishings, but you are welcome to bring your chair, photos, or decorative items to create a space that feels like home.

Will I need spending money?

Most daily needs are included in our fees, such as meals, drinks, laundry service, and in home activities. Optional services like hairdressing, chiropody, and special outings have separate charges. We always make sure that any extra costs are communicated clearly in advance.

Can I have shelves or pictures put up in my room?

Yes. Our on site maintenance team is happy to help with tasks such as putting up shelves or hanging artwork. For safety and insurance reasons, we kindly ask that only our staff install items that require drilling or wall fixtures.

When can I receive visitors?

Lyles House is your home, and we want families and friends to feel welcome at any time. There are no set visiting hours. Our team is present twenty four hours a day, and visitors are welcome throughout the day and evening. Loved ones are even welcome to join residents for meals at no additional cost.

How can I access assistance during the night?

Every bedroom and key area in the home has an easy to reach call bell. With a single press, a member of our care team will come to assist you. If you prefer regular night time check ins, we can arrange those as well to ensure your complete comfort and peace of mind.

Can I spend time outdoors?

Yes. Lyles House has accessible outdoor spaces that residents can enjoy throughout the day. Depending on mobility, residents can go outside independently or with the help of a carer. We also offer outdoor based activities such as light gardening or simply relaxing in the garden with fresh air and gentle conversation.
